Since we’re living in Donald Trump’s post fact (and what seems like post apocalyptic) society, WTF moments have become a daily standard.
Even confronted with this, it’s still unimaginable how Danielle Bregoli, the viral and infamous “cash me ousside” girl, attained her fame, and now, what it’s been used to accomplish. Billboard recently announced that a remix using Bregoli’s famous Dr. Phil memed phrase has now charted, cracking the Billboard Hot 100.
DJ Suede the Remix God’s “Cash Me Outside (#CashMeOutside) debuted on the Hot 100 at No. 88 and the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs at No. 34. In addition to the standard charts, the track entered the Streaming Songs chart at No. 50 with 8 million U.S. streams.
If you were waiting for Danielle Bregoli’s 15 minutes of fame to be up, you may have to wait a little bit longer. Twitter, of course, reacted to the charting news. “Why the f**k is the cash me ousside remix in the billboard top 100 im kms,” someone tweeted. “@billboard Hot 100 has ZERO credibility by allowing cash me ousside 2 chart #fail #Hot100,” another wrote.
Check out the remix as well as reaction to it charting below.
