Barack, Michelle, And Malia Obama Spotted Celebrating Sasha's High School Graduation From Sidwell Friends
Sasha Obama officially graduated from high school and the rest of the Obama family was there to cheer her on.
On Sunday, June 9, the youngest Obama attended the commencement ceremony for Sidwell Friends School in Washington D.C.
A photo posted to the school’s Facebook page showed Sasha and the rest of the class of 2019.
At the actual ceremony, other attendees watched as Barack Obama and Michelle Obama grinned at the tremendous sight of their daughter. Malia Obama was also seen embracing another person at the commencement while her parents sat happily among the other proud parents.
Also, present at the ceremony was former Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, whose granddaughter Maisy was graduating alongside Sasha.
The 2020 presidential candidate gave Maisy a special shoutout on Instagram afterward.
“Jill and I were so thrilled to be there today to watch our amazing granddaughter Maisy graduate from high school. Maisy, you make us so proud and we can’t wait to see what you do next with your talent, smarts, dedication and kindness. The future is yours, and Nana and Pop will always be right behind you,” he wrote in the post.
The entire Obama family was last seen publicly in May when they helped send Sasha off to her senior prom. She is reportedly heading to the University of Michigan in the fall.
