Serena Williams is slated to welcome her first child into the world next month.
And her fiancé, Alexis Ohanian, let the world know the tennis queen's theory about why she thinks she's having a baby girl.
"Obviously, she won the Australian Open while pregnant and she remarked that she feels like it has to be a girl because everything that little baby went through and handled like a champ, only a woman can be strong enough to take on," Ohanian said to applause while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night. "And I have to admit, I was very lucky to be raised by a very strong, amazing mother — and she’s got a good point."
The Reddit co-founder added, "This is our first child. If anything, it’s really just reinforced how just amazing and strong and powerful and awesome women are, and how useless we [men] are during this whole thing. Because it’s like, 'I can make you a grilled cheese. Does this help?' We are worthless!"
People heard Ohanian break down Serena's theory on why she thinks she's having a baby girl, in addition to his sentiment, and loved everything about it.
Serena's thought process makes total sense.
It is a perfect explanation.
That would be so sweet.
We'll know for sure in roughly a month.
They're so in love and we love it. Congrats, guys! We can't wait to learn the sex of the baby.
