Game Tape: The Jason Pitts Injury

Can Jason Pitts overcome his concussion? The Game Tape team tries to break it down.

Despite winning the game, Saber nation received yet another shake-up when wide receiver Jason Pitts was dealt a severe concussion. Despite Bryce "Blueprint" Westbrook's optimism, we've uncovered some footage with Chardonnay Pitts and the Sabers' doctor that points to a less than desirable assessment.

Jason Pitts has tried to remain hopeful on social media. However, given the type of injury he has, the road to recovery may not be easy.

Even more perturbing are Pitts' recent tweets in which he reiterates what he just said. You're average physician would call this a sign of short-term memory loss and it is an obvious result of a concussion.

Speaking on historical terms, the Sabers may have to chalk up their season as a loss similarly to the Giants during the 2008-2009 season. This was the same year wide-receiver Plaxico Burress accidentally shot himself, which led to a disappointing season for the defending champions.
