Rihanna’s Latest Accessory Obsession Proves to Us She’s the Baddest

Didn’t she tell you she was a savage?

Published August 11, 2016

Singer, designer and all around beautiful person Rihanna is pretty powerful when it comes to trend-setting. Her line for Puma alone has produced several sold-out novelty shoes in the last year and she continues to rack up high-profile fashion campaigns with impressive labels like Balmain and Dior.

Her most outstanding accomplishment, though, is perhaps being the baddest millennial woman around, a title she gave herself with her Instagram handle, @badgalriri but that she backs up with her badassery on the regular. Just how bad you wonder?

Well, considering that carrying open containers of alcohol is illegal and Rihanna has adopted the wine glass (filled with wine, aka alcohol) as her new official accessory, we'd say pretty bad. This week the singer was spotted in Paris with a Balenciaga fur (yes, in August) draped over one shoulder and some casual Sauvignon Blanc on hand.

While the French have far less strict rules about public alcohol consumption, this is not actually the first time that RiRi has taken her drinking to the streets. Ever the detectives, we gathered all of Rihanna's party-to-go scenarios and just want to go on record saying that we fully endorse this new must-have accessory. We love everything that this Bajan beauty does, but knowing not to ever waste a drop of the sweet nectar of the gods and how to pack a roadie, makes her a hero.

Shop the Look

Matching Rihanna’s fly does not have to be expensive, although we are pretty sure hers is. Here a few options for whether you’re balling on a budget, have a little extra cash to spend, or have that designer taste.

Tiffany's, $65

Burgundy Wine Glass, 1 pc.

For those of you who are searching for the top of the line, this hand-blown crystal glass is perfect for you. This piece is made in Sweden and can hold 18 ounces of your favorite drink. We recommend to pair this burgundy wine glass with your favorite designer dress and some fancy heels.

Target, $13

Threshold 4-pc. Red Wine Glass Set 20 oz.

Although simple, this set comes with four pieces in case you run into any accidents and need a backup. A red wine glass does well with a more casual outfit. Grab a pair of ripped jeans, a clean v-neck, sneakers and your favorite hat to complement this glass.

Nordstrom, $40

Schott Zwiesel Enoteca Chardonnay Wine Glass

This glass is perfect for those who are willing to spend a little more, but not their entire life savings. The crystal Chardonnay glass goes well with dressy flats or sandals, a silk top and solid colored pants. Dress it up or down, this accessory will not disappoint.
