We Found Out How Much the Ring Gucci Mane Proposed With Is Worth

And it's a lot.

Last night, November 22, Gucci Mane proposed to his longtime girlfriend, fitness and makeup mogul Keyshia Ka’oir. The two have been together since meeting on a video set in 2010 (she even stood by him while he went to jail in 2014) and clearly, Gucci loves her a lot. Look at this ring!

The proposal sweetly went down at an Atlanta Hawks game, over the kiss cam.

But we still can’t get over the ring. Keyshia wrote on Instagram that it’s 25 carats, which is a very large amount of carats. This thing must have cost millions but we needed to know exactly how much.

Staley Chernoff of NYC Wholesale Diamonds gave us some solid info. While making it clear that she does not know the exact specs or quality of the ring, she was able to give us an evaluation based on Keyshia’s photos. “The center stone is a cushion-cut diamond,” Chernoff wrote in an email. “One website I looked at stated that it was set with baguette side stone, which it is not. It appears to be set on a band of accompanying cushion cut diamonds.

“The retail price on a stone like this, if it is indeed a 25 carats with an ideal cut, would range from $4 to $5 million. Remembering, the color and clarity of the stone is a huge variable in the price,” she said.

Damn, Gucci.

We spoke to another diamond wholesaler who works for a cool-girl downtown jeweler in New York, who preferred to be kept anonymous. He had a slightly lower estimate. “Retail price (based on the color and clarity, which both look high, but not top) would be around $3 to 4 million.”

Either way, the ring is major major major. Congrats to the happy couple!
