See Why Kim Kardashian Took Her Plastic Surgeon on a Plane

Her jet-set laser treatment is not cheap.

Kim Kardashian let fans in on her key to the fountain of youth, and it’s not good genes. The reality-TV queen boarded a plane to Dubai yesterday (Jan. 12) to make her first public appearance since her Paris robbery at a makeup masterclass led by her longtime makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic. While mid-air she Snapchatted away about the anti-aging secret weapon she travels with and no, it’s not any magical elixir you can buy at the beauty counter like you might be thinking. It’s a person — Dr. Simon Ourian, a cosmetic dermatologist from Beverly Hills. Because when you have Kim Kardashian money, you travel like, welp, like you have Kim Kardashian money.

“Most people think I just have good genes,” she heard saying in a video clip she captioned, “Ain’t no shame in my game. #LasersOnThePlane. So, I want to introduce you guys to my good genes who I travel with to Dubai, Dr. Ourion.”

She then turns the camera on front-face to show off her laser goggles. The oversize glasses she strutted through LAX in were in fact not a fashion statement but rather a safety precaution for her treatment. Who would of guessed?

“See, I got my laser goggles! All you need laser goggles. When you do a laser treatment, these are perfect for plane lasers.”

We did some digging on Dr. Ourion and found out he specializes in a number of treatments that can age you backwards, so while it’s clear Mrs. West definitely got some work done to her face, it’s tough to tell what (although our best bet is his Coolaser treatment, which uses a series of light pulses that are flashed on the surface of the skin, explaining Kim’s goggles). So we did some digging on the internet and found a few recent customers who had both rave reviews and a couple of not-so-flattering ones to get the scoop on Kimmy’s doctor-friend.

According to Yelp the doc's price range is “Ultra High-End” (no surprise here), but a few reviews said the his practice, Epione Beverly Hills, charges a whopping $500 as a consultation fee! This doesn’t get you in to meet Dr. Ourion himself either, so says the reviewer. You meet one of his assistants and then if you decide on a procedure you might just get one-on-one time with him.

A recent customer who underwent his popular Coolaser treatment took to Yelp to caution others about the steep prices and lack of results. “His treatment literally takes about 5 min and a whopping 8+K later you're left with nothing but burnt skin for 2 weeks and then back to what ya came in with. He claims his skin care regiment- which ps is another additional 6-700 bucks- is the only way to see results but after following all of the regiments I was left with no results and a pretty burnt pocket,” they wrote. Yikes!

Another reviewer broke down the pricing details of their treatment, “Coolaser for under eye circle removal $3,900.00 (+ additional creams, cleansers, serum cost another $500.00 the cosmetics they sell are mandatory purchase to guarantee the result according to their nurse). The results are temporary.”

Wait time also seemed to be a complaint of many visitors, some waiting up to an hour. But the bad always comes the good. He has four stars on Yelp, which is pretty darn good in the scheme of things.

“Coolaser truly saved my skin. I have done it twice now and my acne scarring has decreased tremendously and completely improved the texture of my skin. To be honest, I was skeptical about doing it because I didn't think it would work on my darker complexion, as I am African America.[sic] Good thing my girlfriend forced me to do it. It's pricey, but it's worth it. Thank you to Dr. Simon, all the nurses, and Ryane for always taking good care of us...and always with a smile,” said one satisfied customer.

However, no costumers referenced receiving service on a private jet, so that must be a Kim Kardashian special. Must be nice!
