Only Rihanna could make us wait two years for a release!
Dubbed with the tagline “beauty for all,” Fenty Beauty has makeup gurus across the globe holding their breath. Rumor has it, Rihanna might be giving both Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian-West a major run for their money with this drop today.
Y'all, it's hitting 1,600 stores across 17 countries all in one day! Rihanna means serious beauty business.
She’s been teasing us since February about her new makeup line — and everyone has been holding their breath.
But, now (as of midnight) you can officially get your hands on the 91-product line, which includes Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation ($34), Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer ($32), Match StixSkinsticks (both matte + shimmer, $25 each) , Killawatt Freestyle Highlighters ($34), Invisimatte Blotting Powder ($32) and Paper ($10-$16), the universal Gloss Bomb ($18), and application tools ($16+) to match all of the products.
Since earlier this week, RiRi has been dropping hints left and right. First, came the video revealing a few of shade names featuring model Slick Woods.
Then we found out there are 40 shades of foundation. If you can’t find your match, we’d be shocked! The video below, shot by Inez and Vinoodh, features 15 models with a diverse range of skin tones including Duckie Thot, Paloma Elsesser and Halima Aden.
As if that wasn’t enough, her Killawatt highlight duo (featuring Ginger Binge and Moscow Mule) will allow your to recreate Rihanna's enviable Bajan glow — without a trip to the beach.
According to Vogue.com, the first sighting of the line was backstage at the Fenty x Puma by Rihanna spring/summer 2016 show – at which a holographic lip product from the collection was debuted. Could it have been the universally flattering Gloss Bomb?!
Surprisingly, other than a few IG posts, RiRi has been pretty quiet regarding the launch. What else does she have up her sleeve? We'll all have to wait to see!
