Beyoncè may be a legendary musical performer, but the way she makes wearing the highest of fashions look effortless may be her most underrated talent.
That attribute was on display Saturday (March 17) at the Second Annual Wearable Art Gala at Los Angeles’ Alexandria Ballrooms. On the red carpet, she was joined by her daughter Blue Ivy, who looked just as stunning, and mother, Tina Lawson.
The Lemonade singer wore a futuristic custom gold gown courtesy of Falguni Shane Peacock with a shiny trail that went all the way down the back, requiring an assistant to carry it as she walked. Almost everything was gold in Bey’s get up, including earrings and a metallic headband, which held her straight tresses into place.
Blue’s gold metallic look was equally cute as she struck poses alongside her mom rocking a custom Anna Kiki desifn and a gold metallic wig by Divamp that cost an estimated $400. Tina Lawson joined the dynamic duo as she greeted them in of course another matching gold dress courtesy of Jean Louis Sabaji.
Oh yeah, and Jay-Z was there too. Here's him hilariously trying to wrestle a bidding paddle away from Blue Ivy as she attempts to spend $18,000.
