BET Awards 2021: A Recap Of SZA’s Most Style Stunning Moments

Since blowing up with her double platinum album CTRL in 2017, the New Jersey native has seen an abundance of success due to her soulful sounds and impeccable songwriting. In fact, the Love Galore singer even snagged a BET award for Best New Artist in 2018.
Besides her strides in the music industry, the contemporary R&B star has also landed on numerous “best dressed” lists, thanks to her love of designer fashions and custom threads on the red carpet.

2015: Roc Nation Grammy Brunch
The CTRL singer arrived at the Roc Nation Grammy Brunch looking casual chic in a black slip dress and sneakers. To complete the look she accessorized with a small name plate necklace, several gold rings, a gold bracelet, and a hair tie (for obvious reasons).
2016: GRAMMY Awards
SZA bared her tattoos in this silky halter dress, which she paired with silver peep-toe shoes, her signature big hair, and several dainty rings that complimented her silver sparkle nails.
2018: Soul Train Awards
While presenting an award to Erykah Badu, the Hit Different singer opted for a monochromatic look at the star-studded occasion. With the help of stylist Dianne Garcia, SZA seamlessly matched her strappy bra top and baggy trousers with an elegant duster jacket for an outfit to remember.
2018: GRAMMY Awards
According to SZA, the theme for the night at the 2018 Grammy’s was “Black Princess of Genovia.” Of course, she nailed it! Nominated as “Best New Artist,” the Normal Girl singer looked fantastic in this sequined Versace gown with Chopard jewelry.
2018: MET Gala
While attending the “Heavenly Bodies” Met Gala in 2018, SZA showcased her love for high fashion. Walking the red carpet during fashion’s biggest night out, all eyes were on the soulful singer as she posed for the cameras wearing an angelic Versace tulle gown with matching bejewelled boots and an extravagant headpiece.
2019: Annual Academy Awards
Nominated for the “Best Song” award at the 2019 Oscars, SZA stepped onto the red carpet wearing a custom Vivienne Westwood ball gown with a high-low silhouette. Fashion stylist Dianne Garcia completed the ensemble with a diamond-encrusted choker and Stuart Weitzman sandals. Of course, her whimsical updo suited the look perfectly.

SZA kept things fun and festive while attending the annual Revolve Festival. Rocking a multi-colored minidress, the singer quickly landed on our moodboards thanks to her laid back summer ensemble, complete with flowing tresses, a purple cover up, and two-tone, high-top sneakers.
