BET Awards 2021: Lil Kim's Prada Bangs And Other Iconic Outfits That Have Stolen The Show

When you're a fashion icon, you're used to people talking about your daring choices. Here are some of the Queen Bee's bold awards-show looks from the last two decades!

Since making her rapping debut in 1996, those who followed the career of Lil’ Kim knew that she was going to spark plenty of conversation with her skillful lyrics and bold fashion choices.

The Brooklyn doll really left us in awe when she snapped promotional photos for the release of her album Hard Core, wearing leopard lingerie, which she paired with a matching duster.

Quickly, high-end fashion houses like Versace, Moschino, and Marc Jacobs took note of a legend-in-the-making and commissioned her as a muse. Photographers, writers, and style seekers eagerly awaited for Kim to grace the red carpet in her little to nothing attire, proving that she is very comfortable with her curves. Who cam forget her David Lachapelle x Louis Vuitton fashion shoot where she donned a hat from the designer and nothing more that the LV logo painted all over her naked body. And of course, her statement-making hair has always been a topic of conversation.

To live up to the title of fashion icon and trendsetter you take risks, whether you're adored or hated at the time doesn't matter because it's your power, influence, and ability to get folks talking that's remembered. The 46-year-old created yet another memorable moment when she performed onstage at the BET Awards 2021 rocking Prada from head-to-toe, including logo-laden bangs that had everyone from Vogue singing her praises to trolls being trolls. Below, check out some of of our favorite Lil Kim awards show looks—including the Prada bangs--and see how the fashion icon has commanded our attention over the course of two decaades.
