Trina fabulously arrived at the 2002 BET Awards wearing a custom spray-painted dress bedazzled with the words ‘Diamond Princess’. When you’re the baddest chick, there’s no reason for your custom drip to stop with your threads. Peep the Miami rapper’s matching knee-high shimmery boots!

Dej Loaf’s pink monochromatic look deserves to be recreated in 2021. Besides the stylish head-to-toe ensemble being fun and flirty, many fans were quite impressed by the rapper’s choice to rock fresh white kicks and a bowl-shaped hairdo with hot pink highlights. Definitely summer goals.

  3. 2018: Janelle Monáe

Janelle Monáe made quite a colorful statement at the BET Awards. Celebrating Pride Month, the famous singer sashayed down our star-studded carpet with the most fabulous Nicolas Jebran-designed LGBTQ+ flag-inspired gown we’ve ever seen.

The paparazzi were quite impressed when Ciara stepped onto the blue carpet in a boldly designed ensemble. As the cameras shuttered with excitement, the multi-talented star gave us serious body goals in her orange ruched dress by Jean Paul Gaultier with matching Stuart Weitzman sandals.

When Lil Nas X shows up to an award show, he always makes the best-dressed list with his western-inspired fashion. Naturally, the Old Town Road singer kept the same energy when he made his appearance at the 2019 BET Awards rocking a turquoise Pyer Moss suit. Quite noticeably, the fashion-forward star went shirtless and allowed his cropped suit jacket with beautifully patterned lapels.

  6. 2019: Karrueche Tran

Karrueche Tran brightened up our day at the 2019 BET Awards. Dressed in a bright yellow House of Holland suit, the Claws actress slayed in her oversized ensemble that was purposefully cinched at the waistline. Breaking up the monochromatic look, the star finalized her fashion with sexy purple Versace pumps and $120 Isabella May earrings.
