Game's affinity for Tupac is well known.

The passing of Afeni Shakur has a lot of people torn up, especially those who really rode for her cause.

"I decided that I'd hit the studio, be the voice for us all & create my own song honoring not only mines & the late 2pac's mother, but all the mothers across the world," he wrote. "After hearing the news about Afeni's passing & reading about her struggles & triumphs on the Internet," Game decided to "be the voice for us all & create [his] own son honoring not only [his] & the late 2pac's mother, but all the mothers across the world."
