Future Announces ‘Mixtape Pluto’ Release Date
Future has officially announced the release of his highly anticipated project, Mixtape Pluto, which will be released on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024.
In a recent Instagram post, the “WAIT FOR YOU” hitmaker revealed the cover art alongside the caption, “F**k the publicity I got this out the mud. MIXTAPE PLUTO 9-20-24.” He also teased a new song, "Too Fast," with a trailer.
Future has been hinting at Mixtape Pluto’s release for over a year after first mentioning it in June 2023. According to a press release, the mixtape will feature a collaboration with Travis Scott, who also recently shared a clip of a song called “South of France” on his X (formerly known as Twitter) account.
The 40-year-old’s last and ninth studio album, “I Never Liked You,” was released in April 2022, and it’s been eight years since he put out a solo mixtape.
Earlier this week, Future and Metro Boomin concluded their sold-out “We Trust You Tour," which supported their collaborative albums We Don't Trust You and We Still Don't Trust You – both debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The Atlanta rapper-producer duo made their way across North America with unforgettable performances at major venues like Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, Los Angeles’ brand-new Intuit Dome, and more.
