Wyclef Jean was reportedly hospitalized last night (September 26) in New Jersey for "stress and fatigue.

According to Billboard, Clef had been struggling with headaches for a few weeks and checked himself into the hospital when the pain grew too intense for him to handle.

A source close to the rapper said Jean had been keeping a relentless schedule between traveling, working on a new album and meetings with the heads of state at the United Nations.

Clef officially ended his bid to become Haiti's next president last week. Jean didn't meet the electoral council's requirements to run for president because he hasn't been living in Haiti for five straight years. Clef initially promised to fight the decision, but later threw in the towel.
