Beyoncé Drops $300,000 on Jeweled Shoes
If you go head over heels over high-end shoes, you might want to pay close attention to Beyoncé’s feet in her next music video. Reports say that the singer has just dropped more than $300,000 on a pair of golden jewel-encrusted stilettos from House of Borgezie. The English company’s Princess Constellation stilettos feature 1,290 precious stones and sell for a whopping £200,000, or $312,270.
House of Borgezie owner Chris Shellis said the shoe is custom-made with a plaster of Paris mold to fit his client’s foot perfectly and the special stilettos come with a lifetime warranty.
“They are the crown jewels of stilettos. They’re a bit like the 1960s E Type Jag — it doesn’t matter what you do, you’re not going to improve on them,” Shellis said. “Occasionally in a designer or artist’s life there may come a moment in time when you stand back and [realize] you may just have created your finest work so far. I think this is truly that moment.”
Bey will also accessorize with a gem-studded, gold basque belt bearing the company’s “Borgezie” name that retails for £55,000, or $85,874. Needless to say, Shellis is absolutely thrilled that Bey will be rocking his luxury shoes in her video, which is supposedly set to drop in the fall. He hopes that despite the crazy price tag, the “Crazy in Love” singer will bring in some major buzz.
“It’s the ultimate, Beyoncé’s one of those fantasy customers,” he said. “If you want someone to model your creations, you can’t get any better than Beyoncé.”
