Cardi B Got Blasted By Martin Luther King Jr.’s Daughter For This Controversial Skit...

"Everyone has had a piece of Martin..."

Cardi B was drowning in hot water earlier today when TMZ leaked a clip of the Bronx femcee as Coretta Scott King in “Real Housewives of the Civil Rights Movement,” a skit from Wild ‘N Out star Rip Michaels’ show, Off the Rip.

  • The sketch is as inappropriate and lewd as it would seem with other characters insinuating Dr. King was a “h**”

Rosa Parks, Malcolm X’s wife, Betty Shabazz, and Jesse Jackson’s wife, Jacqueline Lavina Brown, were among those portrayed as the group gathered to plan a rally for Dr. King. Shabazz’s character kept throwing jabs at Coretta with comments like “Coretta thinks she’s untouchable, but everyone has had a piece of Martin.” The only Caucasian character said, “I’m pretty sure you guys were fighting for equal rights and I’m pretty sure me f**king Martin Luther King is a perfect example of that.” As Coretta Scott King, Cardi said, “all these hussies wanna sleep with my husband, but that’s alright ‘cause I know he marches home to me.”

  • Bernice King, daughter of Martin Luther and Coretta Scott King, took to twitter in a full outrage

In a now-deleted tweet, she said, “On the 55th anniversary of #IHaveADream,’ a clip on @TMZ depicts my parents (Cardi B playing my mom) & great women of the CRM in a repulsive, false light. They paid an extraordinary price so people of color can have a platform- & this is how you use it. @iamcardib: Let's talk."

  • Publicly, Cardi B hasn’t responded to the skit, but it seems that she did reach out to apologize

  • Rip Michaels also responded to King, in hopes of clarifying the premise behind the skit
