Casting News: Paula Patton Joins Warcraft

Actress will star in the film based on popular video-game franchise.

Looks like Paula Patton is moving on from her divorce from Robin Thicke by throwing herself into her work. The actress was announced as part of the cast for the highly anticipated Warcraft movie. Director Duncan Jones and Legendary Pictures released a cast list for the film this week, which included Patton in a leading role.
The actress will play Garona in the movie, an adaptation of the popular video-game franchise. Her character is described as "a strong-willed survivor who is caught between the Alliance and the Horde and must decide where her true loyalty lies."
Warcraft is slated for release on March 11, 2016. The actress also recently wrapped filming for Mission: Impossible 5.
