Kenya Moore Explains What’s Delaying Divorce From Husband Marc Daly

The exes filed for divorce in 2021 and share a 4-year-old daughter.

Kenya Moore is ready to be legally divorced.

While attending BravoCon on Friday (Nov. 3), "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" beauty was asked about her ongoing divorce from Marc Daly, whom she shares a 4-year-old daughter named Brooklyn with, as reported by Page Six. According to her, the process has been laborious.

"Yes, [there’s been] some movement,” she explained of their divorce.

“We had a court hearing and then got on the trial calendar, so were going to go to trial, and then we got bumped off the trial calendar. I can’t make this stuff up.”

Still, the proud mom is manifesting major movement ahead of the year's end.

"I’m saying it right now: I will be single and divorced before 2024,” she added.

In May 2021, the former Miss USA filed for divorce from her husband, Daly, after two years of marriage. She is seeking sole custody of their daughter.

Citing their marriage as “irretrievably broken,” Moore filed the petition in May of that year, according to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com.

Daly filed his lawsuit on June 11, 2021, seeking joint legal custody of Brooklyn but granting Moore primary custody.

Earlier this year, Moore appeared on the "Tamron Hall" show and said she regretted not signing a prenuptial agreement before they tied the knot.

“I always say prenup for everyone because it protects both parties. I used to date an agent—an NBA agent—and he would see all of these guys you know that made $100 million and then they get married and they always take it away. So he would always tell me, you know prenups protect you, he would show me the prenup. And I understood it. But when it came to my marriage, I said I want a prenup. He was adamant about not having one.”

She concluded, “I regret not having one because my divorce right now is taking over. It's still pending over two years now because we didn't have a prenup.”
