Loving on Mothers Across the US, Songstress Kehlani Offers Free Laundry Services
On Saturday, August 9, Grammy nominated songstress Kehlani, will offer free laundry services for moms across various cities in the US.
Being a mom, single or partnered, is one of the hardest 24/7 jobs in the world. And laundry is one of those never ending tasks. Recognizing this Kehlani decided to not only promote her new single, “Folded,” she also decided to give back to the community in a unique and special way.
“growing up i knew how hard it was for all the single mamas in my family to get the tasks done on top of it all. clean clothes is a basic necessity. i got yall. thank you.” The “Folded” singer captioned her post promoting the day of free laundry services.
The laundry services will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Here are the participating laundromats:
- BubblyMat Laundry in Long Beach, California
- Launderlux in Oakland, California
- LaundroLab Laundromat in Charlotte, North Carolina
- Neighborhood Laundromat in Chicago, Illinois
- Spincycle Coin Laundry in Atlanta, Georgia
- SuperSude Laundromat in Washington D.C.
- LaundryBee – Jackson Heights in New York City.

A viral TikTok hit, “Folded” is a break up song inviting an ex-flame come get their stuff.
“So can you come pick up your clothes?/ I have them folded/ Meet me at the door while it's still open/ I know it's getting cold out, but it's not frozen/ So come pick up your clothes/ I have them folded” she sings unbothered on the song’s chorus.
