Ten years ago today, Bring It On debuted in theaters nationwide and it was a surprising hit for the summer of 2000. Starring Kirsten Dunst and Gabrielle Union in her breakout role as Isis, the film followed the story of rival cheerleading teams.  Of course, best known for the line, "I know you don't think a White girl made that s**t up."\r
Although it was odd to deal with racial issues between teens via cheerleading, the movie was a huge hit and was received fairly well by critics.  Bring It On rocked number one at the box office opening weekend and eventually grossed over $90 million.  The movie was also named by Entertainment Weekly as one of the top 50 high school films of all time.\r
Bring It On would go on to spawn four direct-to-DVD versions, including 2009's Bring It On: Fight to the Finish, starring Christina Milian.\r
