On September 17, Mariah Carey took to TikTok to commemorate the 25th anniversary of her iconic song “Honey.”
The legendary soprano reenacted the scene with some familiar faces in the now-viral video. In the original video, Carey played a femme fatale-inspired Bond girl, donning a gold bikini and riding on a jet ski.
As Carey chills in a makeup chair, she’s taken “captive” by kidnappers. The “Vision of Love” songstress lip-synced her infamous character’s dialogue in Spanish. At the same time, Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown and her boo Jake Bongiovi “hemmed her up” while relentlessly “interrogating” Carey.
“‘Go eat a buffet,” she said, quoting the hilarious line from the music video.
Carey also had help from twins Monroe and Moroccan with ex-husband Nick Cannon, who also appeared in the TikTok video. Bryan Tanaka, the 53-year-old Grammy-winning singer’s beau, had a part in the skit.
“Honey” was Carey’s hit single from her sixth album “Butterfly,” which also included jams like “My All” and “Break Down.”
