Arizona Cardinals Jeff Gladney Dies In Car Accident At 25
Jeff Gladney the cornerback for the Arizona Cardinals, was killed early Monday morning in a car accident, according to ESPN.
The news was confirmed in a statement released by the Cardinals on Twitter.
"We are devastated to learn of Jeff Gladney's passing. Our hearts go out to his family, friends, and all who are mourning this tremendous loss," it said.
"We are asking prayers for the family and privacy at this most difficult time," Overstreet said his agent Brian Overstreet in a statement to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Gladney, who sat out the 2021 season after being cut by the Minnesota Vikings after he was charged with felony assault, was found not guilty of the charge in March.
Shortly thereafter, the 2020 first-round pick out of TCU in 2020 signed with the Cardinals. Gladney was signed by the Cardinals to a two-year contract. He was 25.
This is a developing story.
