Tyler, the Creator Cancels Australian Tour

Rapper says he would "rather " perform "when it isn’t surrounded in controversy."

Tyler, the Creator has canceled his Australian tour, two weeks after claiming to be banned from entering the country due to feminist advocates protesting his arrival.    

“Frontier Touring regret[s] to announce the cancellation of the Australian leg of Tyler, The Creator’s Cherry Bomb World Tour which was scheduled to begin next month,” the rapper’s touring company announced on Facebook Sunday.

“We would much rather come to Australia when it isn’t surrounded in controversy,” added Tyler, without giving a specific reason for the tour cancellation. “I love my fans there and hopefully I’ll be back soon. Don’t do drugs.” 

The 24-year-old Odd Future rapper was scheduled to perform four shows Down Under.
