ABC Poised To Sever Ties With T.J. Holmes And Amy Robach

A mediation session reportedly ended with the decision for the ABC 'GMA3: What You Need To Know' anchors to depart.

The third-hour hosts of ABC's GMA3: What You Need To Know, T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach, are allegedly in the final stages of negotiations to leave the show.

According to Deadline, the network and the GMA3: What You Need To Know anchors' exit deal could come as soon as Friday. Sources note the pair were said to have not handled their romantic relationship appropriately and waited too long to share it with executives at ABC and that some ABC staffers felt like their behavior on set made them uncomfortable.

Another alleged report from TMZ, says that Robach had alcohol in her dressing room which is a violation of the company policy and was used as a means to remove the anchor from her gig. An additional accusation alleges that Robach went to the NCAA College Football National Championship in 2022 and showed up to set drunk the next day.

BET.com previously reported that as of Thursday (Jan. 26) ABC was still trying to figure out what degree of punishment is appropriate” after they were removed from the air nearly two months ago.

"A lot of higher-ups at the show think they should be fired," the source revealed according to PEOPLE. "But the problem is they can't fire them so they're really in trouble and trying to figure it out."

Back in Nov. 2022, Holmes and Robach sparked dating rumors after photos alleging that the couple was dating surfaced.

Since the news broke, Holmes and his wife, Marilee Fiebig, have filed for divorce. Robach and her husband, Andrew Shue, have not yet filed for divorce, but it was previously announced that they separated in August.

Holmes and Robach have not publicly commented on their relationship.
