[Watch] Serena Williams Tried Dog Food And You Have to See Her Snapchat For What Happened Next!

Let this be a lesson to us all.

It's lonely at the top — how else could you explain Serena Williams trying dog food in between matches at the Italian Open?

Wait...what?

Fresh off defeating Anna-Lena Friedsam on Tuesday in the Rome tournament, the tennis legend took to her Snapchat to reveal to her friends that she brought her dog, Chip, overseas for the trip, but forgot his food.

Fortunately, her hotel has a "doggy menu," including meals such as salmon, pasta, chicken, rice and soup. Oh you fancy, Chip! When she ordered the salmon and rice for her dog, though, something about its presentation told her to take a taste...and she did just that, Snapchatting the queasy aftermath for all to see.

"I'm like, 'What the heck? I'm going to try a piece. It looks good,'" Williams said in her Snapchat story. "So I ate a spoonful. Don't judge me, I ate a spoonful. Let's fast forward two hours. I just ran to the toilet, like, I thought I was going to pass out. I mean, it did taste weird. I force-swallowed it. It tasted a little bit like house cleaner...I don't think it's consumable for humans and they should've wrote that."

Saying that Serena didn't feel too good following the sampling would be an understatement.

But the tennis Queen was still in good enough shape to slay her next opponent, Christina McHale, in third-round action on Thursday.

Don't do that again, Serena!
