Lil Wayne’s Mock Casting In ‘Tarzan III’ Has The Internet Dying Laughing

Tunechi: King of the Jungle?

As the world continues to celebrate the newest, and blackest, casting for the star sea princess Ariel of The Little Mermaid live-action remake, 21-year-old songstress Chloe Bailey, Black Twitter is dreaming up even more castings for the culture for our childhood favorites.

They placed their bid for R&B-hip-hop favorite Lizzo as The Little Mermaid’s antagonist, Ursula: the conniving sea witch who deceives Ariel out of her beautiful voice. Not long afrer, comedy-film maven Terry Crews also threw his hat in the ring for Ariel’s sea-ruling father, King Triton. It goes without saying that Chloe’s placement has made an entire casting director troupe out of Twitter, and their imaginations are running wild—literally.

For their next Black cast hopeful, they’ve hilariously tossed New Orleans hip-hop icon and Young Money honcho Lil Wayne in as the jungle-wild Disney star, Tarzan. A hilarious film poster contrived on the internet for the mock “Tarzan III” film shows Weezy in a king of the jungle element with his long, thick locs falling over his face and upon his bare chest in the same vain as Disney’s Tarzan.

And after catching a glimpse of their graphic design cleverness for the faux movie promo, fans are rolling on the floor laughing at the imaginary casting.
