A Judge Orders For Police To Return YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s $47,000

It was detained after a September arrest.

A judge has ruled that YoungBoy Never Broke Again will regain some possessions that were held by Baton Rouge police officers.

Complex reports that on Dec. 16, judge Tiffany Foxworth ordered police to give back more than $47,000 that had been taken from him during a video shoot.

Back then, in September, YoungBoy and several of his close associates were arrested. Circumstances surrounding the arrests are still unclear.

An attorney for the rapper argued, in a court filing, that the seizure of the cash was “illegal and unconstitutional” because the state lacked the evidence to support the need to seize it.

Judge Foxworth agreed with the claim and ordered the return of the money to the rapper.

At the September arrest, police reportedly found drugs and guns at the scene of YoungBoy’s music video shoot. When authorities approached the scene, several members of his collective fled.

Last month, YoungBoy Never Broke Again hinted at possibly moving on from being a recording artist sometime in the future. The rapper revealed to XXL that “music (is) not (my) main focus anymore, looking to sign more artists.”
