‘I’m Tired Of It’: Keke Palmer Gets Real About Her Struggle With Acne
Keke Palmer is getting candid about her struggles with skincare, particularly acne, which she says is still a problem for her.
Taking to her Instagram account on Wednesday (August 10), the Nope actress asked fans why there are no plastic surgery procedures that can cure adult acne.
“I was just thinking about the fact that plastic surgeons are amazing, OK? They can give you a boob job, above the muscle, under the muscle liposuction, a tummy tuck, a BBL, they can even implant muscles. I mean, the list goes on, but they cannot figure out how to clear up somebody's acne?” she says. “All these years and all these inventions, you can't figure out how to take the beautiful skin from my ass and put it on my face?”
The 28-year-old added: “I’m tired of it. I’m done with it. People out here with adult acne are struggling, and you haven’t figured out that cure? I’m done.”
This is not the only time Palmer has been open about her skincare struggles. Back in December 2020, she revealed on IG that she was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), which causes acne and facial hair to grow more rapidly. In November 2021, Keke explained in an interview on The Tamron Hall Show what it was like to learn that she had the hormone condition.
