See A Very Sad-Looking Drake Wearing Socks With Rihanna On Them

"Can't deny that I want you but I'll lie if I have to..."

What is one to do when they lose the world's most eligible bachelorette, Rihanna? Wallow in self-pity and wear socks with your old bae's face on them, duh. Drake did just that. Late last night he posted a pic to the ‘gram that perfectly encapsulates the beta bro status that guided his early work and subsequently made him famous.

The scene was set: among a baroque pillow, Chanel dust bag, humidifier and staple could-be-purple-could-be-pink beverage, "the rookie and the vet" put on his most anguished face. The source of his romantic torture emanated from a unlikely place: his feet. That's because his alleged ex-girl was cloaking his tootsies. *Sigh*

Aubrey Drake Graham found himself in a scenario as rare as the solar eclipse. His frequent collaborator and admitted love of his life since age 22's sexiest looks have been reinterpreted into a capsule sock collection. The style he's wearing originated from their most recent collab, "Work" — you know, the one where RiRi was whining all up on Drizzy's crotch?

Wearing a Drakkar Noir shirt (aka Eau de Fuccboi) that matches his Drakkar Noir tattoo, Drizzy captioned this photo "trabajo," but judging by his despondent look, it appears the only trabajo occurring in this photo was his brain working overtime trying to reconcile the fact that his lyric "don't you see RiRi right next to me" no longer rings true.

Dear 2017 Drake, 2012 Drake called and he said he wants his brooding sadness back. Cheer up, big guy. Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Also, the Navy thanks you for putting on onto these socks!
