Tyler, the Creator: I'm Banned From Australia

Rapper says he can't perform in one of his "favorite" places.

Azealia Banks isn’t the only rapper who has issues with Australia. Tyler, the Creator claims he’s now banned from entering one of his “favorite" places.

The L.A. rapper’s visa has yet to be approved and he thinks it’s due to a feminist organization that petitioned against him going down under.

Tyler is scheduled to perform in Australia in September, but he’s not officially barred entry. The Department of Immigration just hasn’t made a decision on his visa, according to Frontier Touring, the Australian company behind the show.

With respect to media reports that Tyler the Creator’s visa has been refused, Frontier would like to advise that this is not the case,” reads a statement on the company’s Facebook page. “The department for immigration has raised issues with the visa application but it has not been refused and Frontier will update ticket holders as soon as more information comes to hand.”
