Stefon Diggs Hit With Paternity Suit Amid Cardi B Pregnancy News
Cardi B’s love life continues to be everything but drama-free.
The rapper, who recently split from husband Offset over alleged infidelity, is now dealing with fresh controversy surrounding her new boyfriend, NFL wide receiver.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Aileen Lopera — known online as Lord Gisselle — filed a petition in Los Angeles Superior Court in December 2024 to establish paternity of her unborn child, naming Diggs as the father.
Lopera requested full parental rights, with Diggs having limited visitation. She also wants reimbursement for pregnancy and birth-related expenses, plus attorney’s fees.
Diggs, 31, responded in July, stating he was “not certain” he fathered baby Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera, who was born April 2. Diggs has requested a DNA test and, if proven to be the father, asked for joint custody while splitting costs equally.
The U.S. Sun was first to report the case, and the paternity suit comes just as Cardi, 32, announced she is pregnant with Diggs’ child during an appearance on “CBS Mornings” with Gayle King. The Grammy winner, who already shares three children with Offset — daughters Kulture, 7, and Blossom, 1, and son Wave, 3 — said she’s “excited” about her pregnancy.
“I’m excited, I’m happy, I feel like I’m in a good space,” the rapper said, adding that she is due before her tour kicks off in February 2026.
Cardi and Diggs went public with their romance in May during a courtside NBA appearance. A month later, she slammed Offset in court filings, accusing him of being a “deadbeat dad” who hadn’t financially supported their children or consistently seen them since their split.
Diggs, who previously played for the Houston Texans and now stars for the New England Patriots, also has a daughter, Nova, born in 2016 with ex Tyler-Marie.
