Spotlighting Black Women Entrepreneurs Shifting the Balance Around the World

Industrious women on the international stage are making big moves.

Black women have consistently leveraged their diverse talents to create pathways to sustainability. On the international stage, Black women entrepreneurs are breaking barriers, shifting the balance in business landscapes, and providing employment and access to economic growth for themselves and others.

Here are a few entrepreneurs and businesswomen who are changing the landscape in various industries around the world:

"Little Omo is an inclusive, award-winning brand created by first-time mother Desriee (Founder & CEO) with the mission of providing educational materials and toys that celebrate and teach diverse cultural representation to children. While pregnant with her son Isaiah, Desriee was determined to create products that could teach and celebrate diversity in a fun and engaging way, as there were very few options available in the UK to support this within the early years of a child’s life."

Movimento Black Money (Brazil)

"Nina Silva is an IT expert who embodies all faces of diversity: black, woman and poor. After a burnout, she turned her career around with a purpose driven action.
