Forget the Presidency, Waka Flocka Flame Is Running for Speaker of the House
Waka Flocka Flame announced he was running for president in 2016, but he’s had a change of heart.
The Bricksquad Monopoly rapper is now putting his name in for Speaker of the House. Wait, you don’t know what the Speaker of the House does? Well, it’s the presiding officer of the United States House of Representatives.
In this clip on Funny or Die, Waka explains that he wants to get close to Congress so he can help make decisions with whoever does become president after Barack Obama.
“When you hear President Obama say things like, ‘Uh, I can only do so much without Congress behind me. All of a sudden, I’m like, ‘Oh s**t? Who in Congress? I don’t know. But the Speaker of the House has superpowers and they are third in line for the presidency,” he said.
