Hangovers, Hookups, and a Car Bomb: 'Sistas' Goes From Messy to Mayhem

The morning after Karen’s wild sendoff brings drunken confessions, relationship chaos, heartbreaking health news—and a cookout that ends in an explosion no one saw coming.

Let’s get into the latest episode of Tyler Perry’s Sistas. It’s the morning after the ladies’ night of debauchery—and the same day as Fatima and Zac’s long-planned cookout. Everyone clearly had a time at Karen’s sendoff, but the consequences start rolling in almost immediately.

The first mess kicks off when Sabrina wakes up to find Rich asleep on her couch. She was so blacked-out drunk the night before that the story somehow made its way to Zac, who then told Rich. Concerned, Rich took it upon himself to pick Sabrina up from the club and get her home safely. He insists nothing happened—and honestly, the math checks out. Sabrina questions why he didn’t just let one of the girls take her home, but Rich points out the obvious: they were all drunk. He then drops the real bomb—apparently, Sabrina asked him to take her home and admitted she missed him. Alcohol or not, that confession felt a little too honest. Later, she admits as much to Dani.

Next up: Dani, who wakes up at home next to her latest flirtation—exactly the situation everyone knew would turn into more. They clearly enjoyed themselves, but the vibe goes left fast when Tony walks in and catches them in the aftermath. What follows is a full-on blowup, complete with a physical tussle and Dani’s apartment getting torn apart. Once things finally calm down and her new guy leaves, Tony makes it clear he’s done. Dani tries to explain, but Tony isn’t hearing it and basically tells her to kick rocks.

‘Tyler Perry’s Sistas’ Recap: Karen’s Farewell Celebration Is In Full Swing

On a much heavier note, Andi learns that her mother has been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. While her mom remains hopeful thanks to a solid oncologist, Andi spirals—as she does. Her mother gently reminds her that what she needs most right now is prayer, grounding the moment in quiet strength rather than panic.

There’s a rare bit of good news when Karen finds out her mother will also be moving to the Seattle area on a Marine assignment. Even better, Mama is more than happy to help with babysitting duties, making the transition easier for everyone involved.

Then it’s time for Zac and Fatima’s cookout—but the vibes are already off. Earlier, Fatima overheard Mr. Keyes on the phone revealing that he’s actually Zac’s biological father and plans to tell him when the time feels right. Fatima keeps his secret, but it clearly eats at her. She acts awkwardly all day and even tells Zac she doesn’t trust him, despite knowing the truth has nothing to do with him. Zac pleads with her to hold it together for the sake of the day.

Almost everyone shows up—except Sabrina, who’s likely still nursing a brutal hangover. Andi’s mom attends, and Karen and Aaron even pull up for one last Atlanta hurrah. The cookout ends on an emotional high, with heartfelt goodbyes as Karen and Aaron prepare to leave the city.

Then everything goes completely off the rails.

Andi’s car alarm suddenly goes off. When she steps outside to check it, the car explodes. The episode cuts before we find out if she’s okay, leaving viewers with a cliffhanger that’s way beyond left.

Because on Sistas, even a cookout can end in chaos.
