Kodak Black Shares Why Mentorship With Master P Didn’t Go As Planned

The “ZEZE” rapper explained his side of the story on ‘Streetz Morning Takeover.’

Kodak Black is giving his take on why a brief mentorship stint with Master P ultimately did not work. The rapper sat down with Streetz Morning Takeover on Feb. 26 to share the status of his relationship with the No Limit CEO and why the two might still have some tension.

The “ZEZE” rapper explained that the two actually fell out over a charity event they were working on together down in New Orleans. According to Complex, Black said that P reached out to him to partner together for the philanthropic children's events but that the veteran rapper wanted to mentor him in exchange for compensation.

Ultimately, their relationship suffered in the midst of the Louisiana charity event and Black ended up hosting the event by himself although he extended the invite to P.

Back in 2017, Master P recalled his side of the story on his social media and gave some advice to Black.

“Look at the people who have been there before you. We really can help you,” he said in the video clip.

Master P has not yet responded to Kodak Black’s new claims.
