Yungeen Ace Arrested For Gun Possession In Florida

The Florida rapper was charged with possession of a firearm, weapon, or ammunition by a convicted felon.

Florida rapper Yungeen Ace was arrested on a gun charge on Monday (April 15) in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, local NBC affiliate First Coast News reports.

Per the report, the 26-year-old whose real name is Keyanta Bullard, was charged with possession of a firearm, weapon, or ammunition by a convicted felon after law enforcement officials pulled his vehicle over for a traffic stop.

The arrest report notes that the SUV that Bullard was riding in “failed to stop at a four-way stop sign intersection.” Malquis Warthen, 24, was driving the vehicle and he was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

During their search of the SUV that was transporting six people, “seven loaded firearms were found inside the vehicle, three of the firearms Bullard had constructive possession of” including a rifle that was loaded with "armor-piercing rounds,” the report read.

The rented SUV was towed, and every passenger was brought into police custody.

Bullard, who’s been living in Houston, Texas, is allegedly the leader of a gang called ATK, which stands for Ace To Kill. ATK's biggest rival is KTA, which stands for Kill Them All and is led by Foolio, another rapper from Jacksonville whose real name is Charles Jones.

In 2018, Bullard was shot eight times during a confrontation by rival gang members in Jacksonville,  reports News 4 Jax.

Because of his run-ins with the police and alleged gang ties,  Ace stated that he’s not welcomed in his hometown even for performances.

"The police won't let me," Bullard claimed. “They don't want me coming out there doing shows."

"I want to do a bike giveaway, but the police won't let me," he continued. "I can go through someone to do it ... but I want to do it. I want them [children] to see me. I want to hand out notebooks, bikes, turkeys... They won't let me."
