Rapper Dirty Tay Arrested For Allegedly Shooting A Three-Year-Old
Rapper Dirty Tay, born Kentavious Wright, has been arrested for the shooting of a 3-year-old and his father.
According to Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the 24-year-old was taken into custody during a traffic stop on Aug. 19. He was booked into the Fulton County Jail after being accused of an Aug. 3 shooting that resulted in a 3-year-old being injured. The incident reportedly occurred after the father was leaving Off The Hook barbershop in Atlanta, Georgia, according to police.
The father entered his car with his son when a car pulled up, and a person in the passenger side reportedly began firing. The father was also injured. His son was taken to the hospital, had a bullet removed, and is now in stable condition. The father and son’s names have not been released to the public.
The rapper was booked on various charges, including criminal attempt to commit murder, aggravated assault, and first-degree cruelty to children.
Complex reports in a now-deleted post on Instagram Stories, Dirty Tay maintains his innocence, writing, “I’m innocent the news is not always right don’t bash me because of allegations.”
Dirty Tay is signed to Lil Baby’s 4PF record label.
