Ariana Grande’s Ex Pete Davidson Defends Kanye West And Then Posts Scary Suicidal Message

He deleted his Instagram shortly after.

Kanye West's weekend-long feud with Drake, Travis Scott and the like seemed to spill over into the pop world as the rapper dragged Ariana Grande into the mix. Things then took a turn that many didn't expect to witness, as the pop star's ex's got involved in a quite an alarming way.

The already questionable conflict formed another layer after West called Grande out for, in his opinion, using his mental health struggles to promote her new single.

In response to her tweet, where she urged her followers to "please jus [sic] behave for just like a few hours" and disregard the "grown men arguing," West, who has admitted to suffering from bipolar disorder, wrote, "Don't use me or this moment to promote a song."

  • Fans of Grande may recall that, following his breakup with Grande, Pete Davidson was bombarded with threats from her fans, with many going as far as to suggest that he kill himself.

The comedian spoke on the harsh backlash from the failed relationship on Howard Stern, explaining that, in addition to death threats, he was confronted by someone who wanted to shoot him in the face.

Though the two broke up some time ago, Davidson shared, just recently, that the hate only intensified following him posting some supportive words addressed to West in the midst of his back-and-forth with Grande.

Take a look at what he wrote, below:

  • Following the outpouring of negativity and hateful comments, Davidson returned to social media where he shared a suicidal message that concerned many of his peers and fans.

"I really don't want to be on this earth anymore," he wrote. "I'm doing my best to stay here for you but i actually don't know how much longer i can last. all i've tried to do was help people. just remember i told you so."

  • Soon after his post went public, Grande returned to Twitter where, in a couple of now deleted tweets, she reached out to Davidson and expressed regret for the comment she made regarding West's feud with his hip hop enemies.

  • We hope everyone involved, particular Davidson, can come out of this full realized, safe, and secure.
