Offset Opens Up on Moving Past Cardi B Relationship

The former Migos member reflects on accountability, growth, and why his upcoming album marks the official end of their story.

Offset is shutting down any hope fans may have that he and Cardi B will reconcile their relationship.

In a recent sit-down with Associated Press, the former Migos member shared that “chapter is closed” between him and the Grammy-award winning rapper.

“It’s about moving on, like, peacefully,” he told the outlet while discussing the theme of his upcoming record “Move On.”

“That’s what the message is supposed to be. It’s all love and peace. I just ended the album with that song, just to end that chapter because it’s time to move on, it’s over and done with. It was great while it lasted. That shouldn’t be the topic for either one of us no more. It’s a book that’s closed.”

The 33-year-old recently took accountability in regards to the relationship with Ebro on Apple Music, explaining how he messed up.

“I f*cked up,” he told the host.

“Out of all the people, you called me. It takes for people that you love or respect what you say…or for someone to check in for real. Ain’t a lot of people that do that. I f*cked up.

I gotta acknowledge that and get back on the journey.”
