Eldorado Red Charged With Murder of Lil Phat

Rapper among four others arrested for slaying.

Atlanta rapper Eldorado Red has been charged in the 2012 slaying of Lil Phat. Red was taken into custody last Thursday (June 6), bringing the murder arrest tally to five men in total. He's also charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm during a felony and criminal street gang activity.
Russian mobster Mani Chulpayev reportedly ordered a hit out on Phat for snitching about a stolen car business. He allegedly commissioned the help of two Alabama men to carry out the murder.

The May 21 indictment documents obtained by ABC News, implicates Red — née Gary Bradford — Chulpayev, Maurice Dewayne Conner, Decensea Xavier White and Division II college hoop star Deandre Washington.

Red has teamed with rap stars like Waka Flocka Flame, Big K.R.I.T. and Yo Gotti in the past. He even collaborated with Phat more than once as both rappers were featured on each others' McRado's 2 and Return of the Mob mixtapes.
Phat, 19, was gunned down on his way to an Atlanta's Northside hospital for the birth of his child.
