BET Awards 2022: Muni Long Showcases Her Vocals During Performance
The singer performed her smash single, “Hrs & Hrs.”
Singer-songwriter Muni Long wowed the crowd with her vocal abilities during her dazzling BET Awards 2022 performance.
“Usually I don’t do this, but uh — can I sing for y’all?” Long asked the audience the familiar question from the top of her breakthrough hit “Hrs & Hrs,” off her EP Public Displays of Affection.
Prior to performing “Hrs & Hrs,” the 33-year-old songwriter/singer opened with “Time Machine,” another song of hers that’s gained a lot of buzz on the social media platform, Tik Tok.
Long’s performance also grabs inspiration from Lola Falana, a singer whose dress became the focal point of creativity during a 70s TV special.
Just last week, Long joined John Legend for a new single, “Honey.”
