Please Cavs, No More Parties in LA

This was LeBron James's request.

Please Cavs, no more parties in LA. Please Cavs, no more parties in LA.

That was LeBron James's plead to his Cleveland Cavaliers this during their recent road trip and layover in the city, where they played the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night followed by the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday.

"His main message was that this is a business trip," Cavs guard J.R. Smith told Cleveland.com. "Are we going to have fun? Absolutely, but first things first. We're going to take care of business, and that's playing the way we know how to play. Fortunately, we took heed of his message and played the way we were supposed to. You can certainly get caught up in the weather and stuff like that."

That you can... especially if you're J.R. Smith. But Smith and the Cavs responded well, winning both those games and going 3-1 on the short Western Conference road swing.

King James is especially proud of how his squad handled being in Hollywood for four days.

With 16 games left in the regular season, the Cavs are 47-19, sitting on top of the Eastern Conference, so all's well with The Land.
