T.I. Explains Why Meek Mill Left Grand Hustle

"I never been one to hold anyone back or to slow down the success of anybody."

Meek Mill broke through in a big way with his hit "I'ma Boss" and his adrenaline-rush verses throughout Maybach Music Group's Self Made Vol. 1 compilation. Tip makes it clear that he doesn't resent Meek's success under Ross' wing. "I love what he's done and I love the fact that what I felt he was able to do, people now see," he said. "The potential that I saw in him and the things that I thought he was capable of doing, it's been proven to be true. I love to see young Black people making money, man, 'cause the more of us that's making money, the more of us can provide help to those that aren't."

From one boss to another.

is your #1 source for Black celebrity news, photos, exclusive videos and all the latest in the world of hip hop and R&B music.
