Louisiana Rapper Blue Benji Kobe Shot And Killed Just Weeks After Signing Record Deal
Up and coming rapper Blue Benji Kobe, who was born Jacoby Kentae Ware, has reportedly been shot and killed.
Shreveport, Louisiana reporter Timmy Lane posted on Twitter Dec. 7, “24 year-old Jacoby Kentae Ware (Bluebenjikobe), was shot several times at around 2p.m. in the 7000 block of Pines Road. He was transported to Ochsner Health hospital where he succumbed to his wounds at 2:52p.m.”
Ware signed a record deal just two weeks ago with Cinematic Music Group, which has a partnership with Sony Red Entertainment. Other artists signed to the label include Joey Bada$, Pro Era and Big K.R.I.T.
According to a CBS affiliate, two people were arguing when someone opened fire from the car, striking the rapper and another person.
