The Internet Is Shattering To Pieces Over Nicki Minaj’s ‘Chun-Li’ And ‘Barbie Tingz’ Videos
Nicki Minaj’s diehard Barbs Army has been badgering her to death for the arrival of her dangerously-anticipated, femcee-slaying “Chun-Li” and “Barbie Tingz” visuals since April.
After a few teasers and sneak peeks, the head Barb in charge has finally granted their wishes and dropped both visuals for the tracks on Friday (May 4), and she’s dropping a lot of jaws right along with them.
For “Barbie Tingz,” Nicki flawlessly demonstrates how less is more as she’s posed in several different scenes on a white backdrop for the entire video. She left the color up to scenes like her steamy Fendi look, a gangsta girl squad and a multi-colored, yellow-wigged doll baby.
On the more extreme end, “Chun-Li” is much more theatrical as Nicki roles a more ritzy, dominatrix version of the Street Fighter gaming character. The Pinkprint raptress taps into her Asian bloodline for a captivatingly intense and glamorously grim narrative about a betrayed woman on a bloodthirst for rap revenge.
And the Barbs can’t look away. See both visuals and another wig-snatching chronicle from the Barbs below.
