A source shared Rock’s mother was inflexible about releasing her son’s body to the medical examiner due to their Muslim tradition. The outlet reports that the “Selfish” musician’s mother flew from Philadelphia to Los Angeles as soon as the news broke about the shooting and headed to the medical examiner's office to ID the body and get it released.
