The 33-year-old was previously arrested in Minneapolis on suspicion of assault. Reports claimed that the artist allegedly strangled Brooks outside of a Macy's shopping center early Wednesday morning (May 1).
The arrest took place the same day Raz was expected to join his B2K bandmates on stage at the Target Center in Minneapolis as part of their ongoing reunion-laden Millennium Tour. The singer was detained at Hennepin County Jail in Minneapolis, and was later released.
Now, it appears the photos officials claimed that they obtained on the day of Raz's arrest, showing Brook’s alleged injuries from the incident, have surfaced. TMZ reports that officers have released the images and confirmed that the marks seen in the photos are consistent with her claims of strangulation.
However, TMZ also previously reported that the R&B singer won't be charged for the assault, as "they didn't feel there was enough evidence to successfully prosecute the singer," with prosecutors citing insufficient evidence.
Recently it was announced that Raz would be the latest B2K member to join the cast of Love and Hip Hop Hollywood, following in the steps of former group mates Omarion and Lil' Fizz. Currently, there is no information available on whether the Brooks or the incident will be included in the show.
