Dr. Dre reportedly was handcuffed and searched by police after a situation with another motorist escalated outside of his home in Malibu.

As reported by TMZ, the producer's driveway was blocked and when he told the driver to move his vehicle, a shouting match erupted, during which Dre pulled out his phone in order to record the altercation. The details of what happened next are still developing, but the motorist allegedly was the one who phoned the police, insisting that the entertainment mogul had a gun on him.

According to a source close to the situation, the motorist said, "Here we go again, another Black guy with a gun."

At the time of this report, an official arrest has not been made and it is still yet to be determined if there is a case or not.

As reported, no gun was found at the scene after Dre was searched. The driver did file a citizen's arrest, detailing his allegations to the police where the D.A. will later decide if there is a case to pursue.

While it may be an example of the driver's word against the musician's, Dre may have caught the better end of the dispute. If his footage caught the alleged racial comment on film, the tables could possibly be turned against the driver who instigated in the first place.

More on this story as it develops.
