Future On Russell Wilson: ‘He Do Exactly What She Tell Him To Do’

“Man, y’all done already did all the damage! I don’t want to meet him now.”

As the ever-anticipating FutureHive awaited the midnight hour of Friday (January 18) for the official drop of Future’s The Wizrd album, to their surprise, they received another treat: a tell-all Beats 1 interview with the Atlanta trap star.

Fewtch already cracked open the door on his life behind the music with an accompanying documentary for the seventh studio project a week earlier. The Mass Appeal-produced short film featured several of Future’s industry counterparts and closest collaborators, as they dedicated their thoughts and words to the evolution and trap music rise of Nayvadius Wilburn. The documentary also followed him through everyday life with his children, his time at the studio and his favorite downtime moments, like shooting hoops with Young Thug.

Now, with Big Bank Black on Apple Music’s hit radio station, the “Mask Off” rapper is becoming even more candid about his personal life, including the tug-of-war with Ciara—his former fiancée and the mother of his son Future Zahir.

  • For those unaware, silently steeped tensions between Future and the Wilsons have risen to Hollywood hot topics on several occasions. Child visitation and custody crusades, child support brushes and fan-instigated pressures kept distance between the two parties—at least in the public eye. Not to mention, the Future fandom’s odd obsession with Wilson’s healthy step-parenting with Baby Future.

  • Thus, Big Bank Black started the conversation off by asking his thoughts on Russell

“He do exactly what she tell him to do,” Future claimed. Big Bank probed further, asking if he feels as a father that the Seahawks' quarterback may take things too far with the Atlanta rapper’s son (…whatever that means). “He not being a man in that position," Fewtch responded. "He not tellin' her, 'Chill out with that on the internet. Don't even talk to him. I'm your husband! You better not even bring Future's name up!' If that was me, she couldn't even bring his name up. She know that. She couldn't even bring her exes' names up.” If it were left up to him as Ciara’s husband, Future continued, he would advise her not to “give that sh** no energy.”

  • He claims to ‘live by different rules’ considering he’s from the streets

And as Cici’s husband, he’d never condone her taking the father of her child to court. He’d step up himself, he claimed, and take on the duty of parenting if his wife was struggling with her baby’s father. “N**ga, I take care of kids that ain’t mine, now!” he exclaimed. Future believes the back-and-forths with Ciara in court are antic-driven—or, in other words, she “nitpicks” at him. “You know that I’m taking care of my kids—what’s the real issue?” he ranted on.

One of his biggest gripes around her relationship with Wilson goes way back, however. Future claimed that Russell was around their son when he first started dating Ciara, and well before Fewtch had a chance to meet him. He claimed she never even spoke about him, either. So by the time she got around to introducing the two men, he felt the damage was already done. “And then when y’all get married, she was like, ‘I want you to meet Russell now,’” he ranted on. “Man, y’all done already did all the damage! I don’t want to meet him now.”

  • And despite popular opinion in the midst of that viral photo of Russell and Baby Future playing football…

Future stated that he actually didn’t mind it at all. After all, he only wants the best for his son, so it doesn’t get much better than an NFL champion quarterback coaching his son in the sport.

“Why wouldn’t I do that?” he said.

Elsewhere in the interview, Fewtch also elaborated on his tiff with celebrity talk show host Wendy Williams and the infamous baby mama breakdown chart. Future said he didn’t respect it, not because of his personal feelings toward it, but because of the disregard she had for the mothers of his children by including them in it. Man, the Wendy Williams situation, the only thing I was mad about her, putting my kid's mother up that don't want to be in the limelight,” he explained. Two of his babies' mothers aren’t so active on social media, he said, and they were “devastated” from the exposure to the extent that they may need to see a psychiatrist.

Fewtch also said that they can’t go out in public without people spotting and taunting them because of Wendy and her chart.

  • ‘They can’t take that!’ he expressed, ‘They didn’t put themselves in that!’

According to him, Wendy is exploiting them, and she never took into consideration that they didn’t sign up for their faces and names to be blasted all over the public nor be caught up in the crossfire against him. Now if she wants to take shots at Future, be his guest, he continued, but she violated him when she mixed his non-famous babies' mothers in it.

    Tsk, tsk…
